Re: Healing myself inside conflicts

Trying to over ride your thoughts will end in failure and actually add fuel to the fire. The saying is.... "what we resist, persists."

Try this notion. Your thoughts are not you. They appear on you. Let them be. Invite them. Let them dance. Just don't follow them. Observe them but don't let them run you. See them as not you. Don;t engage them. They are there and that is that. Just like you don't engage a barking dog, don;t engage your thoughts. This gives you a rest from your story.

The at the story level you can recreate your thoughts to regain harmony.

If there is however a pattern to your thoughts, you can work to resolving the pattern so it has a new context. This can be done with hypnosis, TAT, "The Work," NLP, etc. This will edit pieces of your code and recreate your story so it is balanced and congruent. This amounts to peace in the long run at the story level.

There is the story and there is awareness. The story shows up on awareness. This can be tested by watching your thoughts and realizing that they are not you. They are memory..stored data that shows up ON you.
