Saturday February 4
everyday walking, and a bright, sunny future
Date: 2/4/2006 4:02:57 PM ( 18 y ) ... viewed 2265 times Just checking in, really. I want to say that I have been using my pedometer to see how far I walk during my regular weekday activities. I often walk miles during an average work-shift. That surprised me. I wouldn't have known it.
I thought my job was primarily sedentary.
I guess not. I like to get stuff done, and I stay busy getting ahead so that on the days when we're really busy I'll have all the grunt work like stocking all caught up. So those days when I do stockwork and run errands for the clients I get in a lot of walking.
I've also been practicing parking farther from the store when I go shopping. This has made a difference. And when I'm going to 2 or 3 places on errands, and they're relatively close, like within blocks, I park at one of the places and keep the car there, then walk to the other two. That has made a huge difference.
My weekend has been packed with activity today. I was lucky enough to have found out through word-of-mouth about a Spiritual Healer offering sessions this weekend only here in town, so I got to receive a healing session today.
Rest is recommended after the session.
So my weekend will be spent resting.
I asked the Spiritual Healer about weight loss, and he said when I am ready to let it go (the extra weight) it will go.
I'm just a little bit excited about the future. I really am!
