Hi! If it were me, I would use either Dr. Christopher’s Eyebright Formula, or Dr. Schulze’s Eyebright Formula. I’ve heard that Dr. Schulze’s Eyebright Formula is much hotter than Dr. Christopher’s Eyebright Formula, so it is up to you how much heat you would be able to stand in your eyes. Hi, I’m currently on Xalatan because my eye pressure is too high. My doc thinks I might get glaucoma. I’d like to try the Eyebright formula, but without stopping the Xalatan. I know that the eyebright herb by itself in a non-alcohol tincture will pretty much be the sam from one manufacturer to the next. Some of these companies I looked up have an eyebright blend tincture that has other herbal ingrediants added to the eyebright herb - I don’t think this is what he needs. I would suggest the pure eyebright herb tincture that has no other added ingrediants. Dr. Cristopher does have just the plain (one herb) tincture BUT it’s alcohol based - I did not find one from his company that was non-alcohol. 2,263 hits

Eyebright would absolutely help, its used to restore eyesight and get rid of any problem with the eyes really. We use Dr. Christopher’s original formula in tincture form. You fill an eyecup with distilled water then put whatever amount of drops you are comfortable with, building up the number of drops to increase the strength. ...but there’s no WAY I will put an herbal tincture made from non-organic herbs in my eyes! It’s one thing to ingest a non-organic herb in capsule (plenty bad enough), but any type of tincture will further dissolve/extract the residue of the pesticides & poisons. In my eyes? No thank you. I had never heard of eyebright. I did some reading on it. To clarify, would you recommend using the eyebright herb straight as opposed to a commercial liquid preparation (like the Dr. Christopher Eyebright solution which has other herbs besides eyebright in it)? It seems I can buy it in capsules or as a liquid. So I just make a basic tea with it (and pau d’arco which I have) and put directly in the eye as an eyewash? Will it sting? Eyebright washes, take the stuff as the herb that it is. I recently cleared floaters in my right eye taking it internally. Still working on the left. In my case it seems the floaters were mycoplasmas that I got from an immunization in 1968! That’s a long time to be carrying something in your brain! Hi Viseu, to the forum! In one of the testimonials about the use of Eyebright for vision there is a mention of using it as a combination of a rinse, swallowing some, and applying some BB in the ears. The B & B isn’t used with the Eyebright Eyewash. I don’t recall reading a testimony where someone talked about using the B & B to restore their sight. What is in the eyebright formula, and is it made for putting in the eyes? If it’s just a tincture made with alcohol, that wouldn’t be good for the eyes, and alcohol would definately burn your eyes. I know that eyebright is taken internally to help the eyes, but don’t know anything about using it as a wash. Lots of folks switch back and forth between HUMAWORM and prescription meds. It will just be hard to find a doctor to prescribe the meds. Any parasites in the eyes will die and will get worked out of the eyes. Eyewashes using an herb called ”eyebright” will help. Get the eyebright tincture that is preserved without alcohol and thin it down OR boil the tincture to get rid of the alcohol if it has any in it. 3,069 hits

I’m gonna go check as soon as I post this but I’m thinking that Uny said that she was going to send the Eyebright that is already formulated with Dr. Christopher’s amount of Cayenne but she would also send the EXTRA amount if you wanted to make it as hot as Schulze’s lol. Dr. Christophers herbal eyebright may help. Add 1-5 drops to distilled water in an eye wash cup and wash your eyes a few times a day. I use both colloidal silver and added eyebright in an eye cup. Good stuff! I am using up the Dr. Christopher eyebright I have on hand but will be ordering the next one from Uny. Her formulas and those of Dr. Schulze are likely superior to the Dr. Christopher ones after his kids took over and the quality took a hit (or so it has been reported). That’s funny lol, I think you might have graduated! I’m impressed that you’re able to do 9 drops, that is fantastic, I’ve never got beyond 5. I’m pretty sure that the difference between the Christopher and Schulze formula is that Dr. Christopher has 1/8 part cayenne and Dr. Schuzle has 1 full part cayenne. If you’ve got a bottle of the Christopher Eyebright and you feel you could stand it hotter and if you’ve got a bottle of the Cayenne tincture you could always add a half drop (that’s drop, not dropperful lol) of the Cayenne tincture to the Eyebright and see how that is and if yo ... 1,583 hits

Our youth Pastor has an ulcer in the cornea of his eye. Do you know if Eyebright may help, or have any suggestions on what can? His eye has been bugging him for a week. He’s currently taking antibiotics. I’m going to offer him some pau d’ arco in the meantime. The eyebright will help to an extent. If there is an infection then the eyebright should be combined with an antiseptic tea such as the pau d’ arco or I generally recommend the chaparral. Yesterday, I did a wash using a dropper full of both eyebright and cayenne. It did sting a little while I was washing. When I was done, for about a miniute, I literally could not open my eye because it burned ALOT. I just toughed it out. My eye began to water profusely for about a minute and so did my nose. Once the burn was gone, the tearing stopped, I did the other eye. I dunno if I can do that 6 times a day, I might be able to manage 3 times a day though. Uny’s Eyebright tincture is made using Dr. Christopher’s exact original formula which has 1/8 part of Cayenne it. So the tincture you got from Uny does have 1/8 part Cayenne. If you look on the label on the bottle you’ll see 1/8 part Cayenne. Its the same Cayenne that she sent you extra of in the bottle. She sent the extra Cayenne in case you want to make the Eyebright to Dr. Schulze’s formula. Dr. Schulze used one full part of Cayenne in his formula. I’ve been using Dr. Shulze’s Eyebright Formula for a week and I’ve noticed a difference already (was diagnosed with macular degeneration at age 55 (I’ll be 67 in July) and the beginning of cateracts at 63). What’s happening is that the blurriness (from the cateracts I imagine) is clearing up. I can now look in my eyes and see them (they were blurry) Anyway, my question is...does leaving the cup with the eyebright in it on the eye for a minute or more increase the effectiveness?
