i know this is an old post but I also have this issue.. I just finished a 3daycleanse(.com) mucoid plaque cleanse last week-which worked wonders! Got out about 5 pounds of that stuff..soo gross. I would check out symptoms of low ferritin and get a test. However, mho don’t count too much on the blood tests. A doc I once had who practiced for decades, now retired, said he watched the ”average”, or ”normal”, levels for blood tests change over the years. What was normal/average decades ago was truly normal. Now, with depleted soils & so many toxins, he said average is no longer normal. Do you mean the extract or the whole vegetable itself? Is it possible that I have a sluggish liver with good liver enzyme levels? It all seems contradictory to me. I have lots of energy during the day and good liver enzymes. Still there are some signs that point to the liver (dark circles/tinnitus) and reduced caffeine clearance. Also my digestion is ok. Hi Steve, I think you’re probably right with my liver being overtaxed. On the other hand my blood test results for the liver are always good with low liver enzymes. During the day I have plenty of energy, so I realy don’t understand this reaction. I think I will try Fo Ti and milk thistle in the future and now start with liver cleansing. Apparently if your liver is really taxed trying to clear it with herbs or juicing can sometimes put even more stress on it. I had started putting regular salt on my food (I had had an aversion to salt before this.), but switched to Himalayan recently. I’m hoping the bags will diminish soon.
