Hello, five days ago my 13 year old boy was diagnosed with Primary Sclerosing Cholangitis (PSC). They have found sludge in his common bile duct which caused the jaundice two days prior to diagnosis. Upper Endoscope cleared the sludge, but the changes in the bile duct system suggests PSC. I would choose very large amounts of colloidal silver and some oil of oregano instead of the maim-stream antibiotics - which ultimately may well do much more harm than good. My daughter was diagnosed with psc and ulcerative colitis 2 years ago. I read two books by a man named Raman Prasad (one is a cookbook, the other an autobiography) who put his psc and uc in remission using Elaine Gotschall’s Specific Carbohydrate Diet. I dont know if you have seen the research by Dr. Cox at stanford but he has been using High doses to vancomycin to put PSC in remission. He has been treating this with 500mg 3x/day since 1993 and seen amazing results even with end stage PSC. Hi Berlin Your story is so typical of what I see here on this forum. Misdiagnosis after misdiagnosis. I went 10 years of being told that it was psoriasis, excema, ringworm, scabies, fungal... on pill after pill, cream after cream.... before it was finally diagnosed as FD. The problem is, FD is a rare condition... so GPs and even many Derms have no idea what they are dealing with. There certainly has been some very good debate of late regarding the formation of bile stones. I can appreciate much regarding the points presented, but I just thought I’d drop a line regarding the way they form and why they form. I must say, one of the more interesting points was regarding the stones forming with the use of an oil causing as much bile to be dumped into the intestines as possible and that they then form from the oil and bile mix as it passes towards the exit point.
