My daughter was diagnosed with psc and ulcerative colitis 2 years ago. I read two books by a man named Raman Prasad (one is a cookbook, the other an autobiography) who put his psc and uc in remission using Elaine Gotschall's Specific Carbohydrate Diet. It worked for us too! My daughter's liver values are all back to normal. We also did a lot of vegetable juicing (with apples to adjust flavor), which I think helped a lot also. I also read on line that Dr. Sandra Cabot has had success using diet to achieve remission. I also spoke with a man in Hawaii who achieved psc remission using Jordan Rubin's diet and supplements. We are still working on the uc but my daughter is much improved and completely med-free. I hope this is helpful to you and your daughter.
