There are several going around the one we ran into is Walking Pneumonia, aka Mycoplasma & Chlamydia Pneumonia. respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) usually diagnosed in infants, but you might have it the cough made me think of it (it causes mild cold-like symptoms in Adults and older children).... also maybe you have EBV and are showing slight Mono symptoms, this could attribute to it showing up later in the day as you are more tired.. just a thought. RSV is an upper respiratory virus that is simply a cold to adults and children but in infants (usually born premature) it is serious and life threateninf. My daufgter had it a weeks old and was hospitalized for 4 days in an oxygen tent. Glad to help.   [End]

A lot of the preemies and immunocompromised kids where I used to work (major university hospital) would get RSV during the months of November to April in middle Tennessee. It was called RSV season. It was very contagious. We had to gown, glove and mask whenever entering their rooms. I think I even got it one year. It was absolutely NASTY - the mucous would turn into plugs like nothing I had ever seen before - long before my Curezone days and quest for improved health.
