We do this. But we might not be doing it properly. We have a huge bowl we put our fruit and veggies in. Fill it with tab water, put the end of the hose from the ozinator in the bottom, cover with a towel and let it run for awhile. We never really time it, but it is atleast 10 mins at a time (sometimes longer if we get busy donig other things)
