Re: Solutions against mold

I use col. silver / and or grapefruit extract when I soak the berries.. just alittle. It helps. I have been experimenting on this mold thing too. I have grown a couple trays now w/ vermiculite. I got it in bulk from a hydroponics store. There is much less mold. I water it with a dilute kelp solution for nutrients. my latest discovery is in storage. I use to cut the grass and keep it in one of those green bags for veggies. It worked out,, but not as good as I wished. I now use a large tupperware container. layer the grass w/ moist papertowels. it works really well. the grass doesn't dry out.. still looks perky and green. the hypdroponics employess also suggested using coconut husk fiber for growing. that is my next experiment.
