Solutions against mold
Hi,
I would like to find out in which ways you can prevent mold from developing when growing wheatgrass, and/or killing molds on just-harvested grass, prior to juicing... as I've heard nausea, headaches etc. after drinking wheat grass juice are caused by (traces of) molds.
This is what I came up with:
* Watering the wheat grass with chamomile tea
* Watering the wheat grass with water with a few drops of
Colloidal Silver
* Washing the just-harvested grass in water with a few drops of
Colloidal Silver or grapefruit seed extract
I have no idea if any of these things will work or how (and if) they will affect the growth/properties of the wheat grass (in the case of watering with a solution). These are just ideas. I wonder whether anyone has ever tried anything like this, and if it worked.
Does anyone have ideas for the solution of the mold problem (besides not watering too much)??
Love,
Lisa
