Hi friend! Thank you so much for posting your update! I am so glad that you are feeling better! I know what you mean about not being able to sleep (on Mirena). I forgot until you mentioned this but I had insomnia and when I tried to lay in bed I felt so anxious and jumpy I couldn't sleep in my bed either. As if my husband didn't think I was nuts enough already! Just Kidding! He did think it a bit strange that I started sleeping on the couch every night! I still migrate downstairs sometimes but now it isn't because I am restless its because of the big screen TV!LOL!!!!
I am glad you were able to find support on this site! It truly is a blessing to know there are others here who care! I know it really helped me too!
It is outrageous that the medical community is so in the dark about this Mirena! I have to say though it is ridiculous that they are still insisting that Mirena isn't causing certain side effects when some of these side effects are listed on their prescribing literature from Mirena. In my book that is just plain defiance on their part. There are plenty of other side effects that should be listed on that literature that like you say maybe we will all help those get on there!
