Re: Please advise re. multiple gastro problems
Naturalist, thanks for your reply.
He only took the meds for a short time - maybe a week - back in June. They gave him migraines, which added to the stress/pain load resulting in... more digestive system pain, of course. =o/
The accident injuries were primarily back and neck. He still gets stiffness and soreness, but has made great improvement. As far as pre-existing conditions, the hiatal hernia has been there for at least a decade, and he has had stomach problems off and on over the years. In the past we were able to clear it up with fresh aloe vera and carrot juice. He has always had
food sensitivities , although inconsistent. For example, he could eat something for a period of time, then suddenly become intolerant of it for a period of time. He has asthma and allergies, also. But never before the accident did he have inflammation from the mouth to the anus, and the inability to eat anything for a long period of time. I feel sure it's stress related in great part, and we're trying to learn to manage the stress.
I welcome any advice you can offer as far as therapies, nutrition, ACV, etc. We were just getting ready to try the ACV with baking soda this weekend, although in the past it hurt him and he didn't continue. I read somewhere that you sometimes need to keep it up and deal with the pain until it starts to feel better. What dosages and frequency do you recommend?
Also, we have a hot tub, but I haven't heard of infrared sauna. I'm open to learning about anything that might help him. What is EFT? And what mineral supplementation do you recommend?
