Re: Veterans get screwed again
Holy crap.
I am the daughter of an Admiral. I have been knee deep in the military life since birth. Even though my parents are still alive and in their 80's, the Navy culture is embedded in our life as a family. I sometimes feel as though I have served in the military myself.
My Father is the embodiment of integrity. Dad is also a nuclear phycist and was part of Rickover's Nucleur Navy. We used to have Hyman over to the house for dinner. At the time, I was just told he was Daddy's "Boss". I know Dad knows things that he has never divulged to me (and possibly Mom). And I'm sure you understand Dr. Sutter, that growing up with a strong conservative military family, that I have always been a flag waver, and possibly a bit naive about the government. That was until I turned about 34, and we were beginning the first Gulf War.
I will surely ask him about this....It would be very interesting to see what he says, and to see if he tries to refute it as conspiracy babble.
I hope this video is spread far and wide, and I'm going to see to it that I do my part in that. I'm against all war, but I am supportive of the men and women in our military. I've seen first hand the grief and hardship of those veterans and their families. My Mom worked tirelessly in Navy Relief for years and years, and was very dedicated to helping the enlisted wives and their children sort through the system.
I'm heartbroken too.
