Yo Rotgut, I totally understand your TG(triglyceride) problem. I had the same, though mine was not nearly as bad as yours. At my highest, I was up to 240 lbs and my TG was 477. W/ a combo of low carb + veggies and exersize I'm down to 168 lbs and my TG was 74. I took lipitor for 8 months but stopped because I felt it to be evil stuff. Flushing will help your troubles.
You should also work on losing that extra weight. Carbs are the biggest source of hi TG and hi TG is the biggest reason for stone formation.
