WOW. Thank you. He is sleeping a lot...and I was upset about that. I am not forcing him to eat...he wants to eat, because he is on predinsone. But I am putting a lot of stuff for him in his food (superfood, antioxidents, flax seed, Transfer Factor Plus)...so I am taking full advantage of that. I tried tapering him off the pred after 5 days, but he began slipping backwards, so the vet had me put him back on.

How long do you think, after the sliver, before I should start tapering him off? There is still signs of inflammation, as there is still weakness in his left hind leg and he is still holding his tail straight down. He takes 5mg a day. A very low dose.

His neurosurgeon says one month...
His holistic vet says 2 weeks...that would be another week
