Fluoride and bromide

Fluoride and bromide toxicity are legitimate concerns for many.

I find the following method of fluoride detox not unexpected but curious... with the addition of the salt, there would also be displacement and excretion of free bromide as well.

Boron does bind with fluoride...

1/8 teaspoon of both borax and Sea Salt in a liter of water for 5 days... 2 days off.

I ponder if supplemental boron would have the same effect, and if so, which form would be most efficacious?

What comes to my mind, is a multi-pronged approach where Iodine intake is reduced, and with the assistance of a lower intake of salt and boron (no salt flushes) if the detox outcome would be the same, or perhaps even better.

Kelp contains boron... I am just finding the above method, rather fascinating in light of the seemingly quick response people seem to be having with the borax/salt protocol with body temp/thyroid, fibromyalgia and lupus even in the absence (no mention of Iodine in their posts though it could be an oversight by the poster if taking kelp or another form of iodine) of iodine.

Boron also helps maintain calcium levels in the body...

There are usually many, many ways to get from point A to point B, none of them wrong; one path is usually better for one individual than another given individual circumstances...

Any thoughts out there on the borax/salt protocol? Does anyone have experience with it?
