Re: water with meals myth?

I grew up drinking iced drinks, here in the South USA we pack the cup FULL of ice and only a little beverage makes it in at a time... even in the winter, ice is very important! Then I lived in Russia for 6 months, where we basically never had ice in our drinks and I decided I preferred no ice, so I've been a no ice girl ever since. All those icy drinks used to make me shiver with cold, anyway! That's dumb!

So even when I lived on the equator, I didn't have ice in my water.

Now I don't drink during meals, if I'm at a restaurant I may have 1 cup of iceless water, I use might sip occasionally, but at home I don't even fix a cup.
