Can we do a Liver Flush without enema?

Help!
I have a friend that really needs, and wants, to do the liver flush.
When I explained the proceedure involved enemas, this fine young man , age 20, just said "No way" .

It may be a homophobic thing, I don't really know. I can understand, it took me a month to prepare myself for the first one too!

Some people are going to have this attitude to enemas, and this one's attitude can be understood by some bad experiences with enemas and anal medicatings when he was younger. His Mom was involved in that, and it seems to have made a permanent impression on him. Unfortunate.

I practise Infinite Compassion, and will honour his feelings on this.

When I had told him I was doing the occaisional enema, it really did make him queesy.

So, is there any use doing a Liver Flush without the enemas?
