Intuitive eating is something I'm learning to do. I hardly ever eat a mix of foods anymore. Like you, if I want eggs, I'll make a couple of them and just savor the flavor of just eggs. Or chicken, I'll just eat a little chicken, nothing else.
When I go shopping, I'm mostly in the fresh produce section, and I'll walk around and touch and smell foods, and pick what I feel like eating at the time. I don't buy a lot of food anymore, I go shopping more often, for less items. Sometimes I just go for
Watermelon if that's what I'm craving or whatever it may be.
I try to conciously enjoy what I'm eating at the time..slow down, really think about what I'm eating.
When I first went on raw foods, I was craving things like watermelon..I couldn't get enough of it, and I found out later it has properties my body needed at that time. I also ate a lot of pineapple the first year, cut up or juiced..it didn't matter. I hardly eat pineapple anymore.
I am finding that since I started
Iodine my eating habits and cravings are changing for the better.
