Dentist Referral Requested Perth Western Australia

Hello Torrie

I was wondering if you have any recommendations for dentists in my area. I need 9 Amalgams replaced(plus possibly one more under an old crown over 20 years old),5 new cavities filled and one Wisdom Tooth upper right)extracted. I may eventually need to replace another 2 more recent crowns (only 7 years old). They are PFM with Gold plus an unidentifiable Alloy (Dentist doesn't know and the Dental Lab went out of business a couple of years ago). Not concerned about Amalgam as dentist confirmed composite restorative underneath but worried about other toxins (flouride, Bis Gma etc.

I have had all the MELISA tests that are available in Australia and already have extreme Mercury Sensitivity (57+ result). Also positive allergy response to Niobum (3.7),Lead (3.2),Cobalt (3),and weak allergy response to Gallium(2.3) and Gluten(2.1). Silver (1.9) is approaching a weak allergy score. Note over 2 is weak over 3 is positive and over 10 is strong allergy/sensitivity.

Recent hair test also showed neglible or undetectable toxic elements. While other than Molybdenum (very low) and Boron (no detectable level) all 'Nutritional Elements' were within reference ranges but not necessarily at optimal levels. Additional Elements showed excess levels of Barium, Bismuth and Titanium and undetectable levels of Lithium, Platinum Thallium and Tungsten.A number of Ratios were either high or low.

I am currently trying to organise Serum Compatibility Testing. I wanted to use Scientific Health Solutions (Dr Levy's Test) as I am aware of your previous comments indicating that theirs is more comprehensive (due to full disclosure) than the Clifford Compatibilty Test due to only partial disclosure). However it looks like the SHS test would cost considerably more to do due to their requirement that dry ice be used in shipping the test sample to them (transit time estimated 2-3 days). So as well as the US$250 SHS test fee it will cost me a AU$1000-1500!This is due to FedEx Perth not handling dry ice shipping at all.Possibly could use another company to ship to Sydney then FedEx (they will handle from Sydney or Melbourne only apparently)from there. This would still cost AU$544-654 if it is possible at all.

In contrast the Cliffords lab advises that they only require freezing & chill packs for the 2-3 transit time. The Cliffords fee of US$335 includes the cost of transit by FedEx. Even if it didn't it would only cost AU$120-150 to ship with FedEx. I have already located a Path Lab willing to do the blood draw and sample prep for AU$30-40 so no problem there.

Are the comments you made (2-3 years ago now I think ) re disclosure still valid or do both Labs have more or less the same disclosure from manufacturers now?

i am also interested in finding out if you or anyone is aware of any local Dentist familiar with the Diamond Range of products? I have been in touch with their Australian Distributer who could only give me one name in WA for a Dentist located in Esperence which is unfortunately around trip of 16 hours plus car drive from Perth!

Thanks for any input advice you are able to give.
