Re: another website addressing cause of candida
I took a seaweed product called Modiflan. I came across Modiflan in a mail order catalog of mine. It said it was used with great success with people of the Chernobyl disaster. It was a heavy metal chelator also. I used it for 4 months 6 vcaps per day first thing in morning with water. That was the most beneficial supplement I have ever used. That was when I was nickel toxic. I was so ill and had such fatigue and shortness of breath, allergic to everything prior. I believe it really helped take the body burden of the heavy metals off. I believe the body removes heavy metal in layers. At first I had too much Nickel. The four months Modiflan seemed to take care of that. A couple of years later, I tested high in cadmium. I used Modiflan for 2 months 6 vcaps a day and my test showed clear. I feel much better, only get slight shortness of breath around menstruation. Allergies practically non existent now. I think incorporating Modiflan my number 1 top food supplement for health has been the best. Then garlic, 1 clove crushed with dinner at night for a week (if people around us are sick we continue longer than a week and don't catch it) during the month. Cilantro is good to include with dinner, 2 Tbsps for another week of the month at dinner. I use chlorella all month as a natural vitamin supplement, easy assimable. There are so many vitamins and minerals in chlorella and Modiflan, and easily assimilated that I do not need to take any other supplements. I use one to two tspns of chlorella powder in my dinner. There are tablets that are more expensive if my family doesn't like the taste. I tried to take other supplements that I've read American are lacking in, but when I examined the vits and mins in the Modiflan and Chlorella, they were in these at good doses. So I opted to keep taking the food supplements that I can assimilate better. I plan to take Modiflan 2 months of year at 6 caps per day and then maybe 2 caps per day the rest of the year with a few days off now and then depending on how I feel. Well, That's my story and I'm sticking to it. If you have any more questions, feel free to ask.
