Without anti-candida supplements, I have constant acne....mainly the hard, cyst-like and whitehead types. I do believe it helped somewhat in killing bacteria, but it never cured any of them for me; just made them less large than they normally get to.
However, their ad says 2-3 "zaps" (it's just holding it against the pimple so that the heat penetrates) is all it takes to stop a new pimple if caught VERY early. I never had that happen.
I guess the only way to be sure how it works on you would be trying it...too bad it's so expensive, but maybe the price will come down when it's not so new anymore.
