Re: Anti-Parasitical Vacation Anyone?
I'll pass on the video, but I think I see the point in 'retraining'.
Right from the get-go there are social situations where one waits.
And, at work, it is usually difficult to run to the bathroom immediately.
Even in a marriage or family situation there are likely to be limits to total bathroom freedom, out of shyness or politeness or privacy issues.
My husband would likely find very good reasons to be out of the house more often, and stay away longer, if I took to wearing a diaper, voluntarily. He likely would want a separate bedroom and bath, too, permanently.
Still, I think of all the times I learned to 'hold it' versus 'following impulse' and I can see sense in the lady's recommendations.
Do you jump up from your computer immediately the need arises? I don't. I often wait until I finish typing a post...or reading an article.
We also hear lots about 'training' oneself to 'go' at 'regular' times...such as 1/2 hour after breakfast, or somesuch.
And we may gauge the 'urgency' of an impulse, deciding it isn't 'strong enough', yet.
Is this the true meaning of 'up tight'?
Maybe a little private meditation on the subject would be useful.
I am very interested in the proposition of passing
parasites without 'cleansing', however. Has any study been done on this? Wouldn't that be a breakthrough?!
