So sorry that you're having a terrible time with those pest!

May I suggest that when you get retested that you NOT limit yourself to "pinworms". I posted a story sometime ago that a family was treated for pinworms and the problem was getting worse and not better. Later, after the problem persisted and grew it turned out to be dog Tapeworms and not pinworms. Apparently, they look and act very similar, or there maybe another species that will do the same. One of your children could have easily petted an infected dog and brought the problem home. It actually makes more since to me that the problem could be Tapeworm larvae in the ears because they will tend to migrate.
