Re: It hurts!!

Hi Everyone!

I had what I thought was the worse case of hemorrhoids I had ever seen/heard of. I tried everything...Prep. H, soaks in epsom salts, keeping the area constantly clean...sitting on pillows! Nothing worked.

I went to my PCP and she said they were some awful looking hemorrhoids...she had never seen a thing like it before. She sent me to my surgeon to have the hemorrhoids removed...life was so miserable with them!

My wonderful surgeon looked at those nasty things, said, "Oh, my! Don't move! I will be right back!" I assured him I would not move. He returned in about 2 minutes with my GI (his office was the door next to my surgeon's). My surgeon said, "Look at this! These are not hemorrhoids! This is Crohn's Disease!" So I was in surgery the following week.

I learned my lesson! If I think it is hemorrhoids, I go straight to my GI!
