Re: Post Gallbladder Removal Problems...Now EGD & Colonoscopy

I wanted to reply and say, I know exactly how you feel. I am having the exact same symptoms. I actually just had my 2nd EGD yesterday. I am having an ultrasound tomorrow, as well as some blood work to check my liver i guess. I have been through cardiologists because of chest pain, my GIs, seems no one can find out whats going on. I know I'm not imagining the pain. I on top of the "dumping" get severe chest pains. It feels every bit like a heart attack. Yet they say its not my heart, its GI related somewhere. I hate to eat because I know I'm going to be in the bathroom as soon as I'm done. Sometimes dont even get to finish a meal before I have to go. It's horrible to try go out to eat. I keep getting told to take imodium..does nothing of course. Well, I just wanted to tell you that youre not alone. I will keep let you know if I find a hidden suspect, I hope you will do the same. Maybe one of us can find the problem. Good luck. Oh and the EGD's and colonoscopys are nothing. There is no pain and you wont even know they took biopsies. Only side effect is some gas where they inflate inside to see better. So, I wouldn't worry at all. I've had a few and they are ok.
