What scared me into hoistics was KNOWING I didn't want a diagnosis of "digestive carscenoma" that's what killed 6 members of our family.  Do I claim this?  Nope, i claim liver dysfuction, doesn't matter why it was dysfunctioning, I'm fixing it ... as MH says:  ONE CURE, CURES ALL.

I didn't step foot in a drs office.  I wasn't interested in being made comfortable until the end.  Going out on a morphine wave in my early 50s wasn't applealing.
