halides and sweat

well, i got the mowing done. it is 97 degrees here. i had sweat pouring off my forehead like ted striker(robert hays) in the movie "airplane". i do this a lot outside.

the problem is the sweat really burns my eyes. now i know what chlorine is like because i have been in pools before. it never bothered me too bad. i know that Iodine can be diluted into an eyewash so that must not be too terrible. i know that salt is a must in eyedrops or straight water will burn and sting the eyes. so that leaves bromine and fluorine.

does anyone know which of the halides are the most irritating to the eyes? i hope its not fluoride. or maybe i do(better out than in).
