Sometimes people crave sweets because their seratonin level is low; sweets bring that level up temporarily. You might try seratonin "helpers" available at health food stores (5htp and tryptophan) and see if they help eliminate the cravings. If so, you'll know it.
Sweets also cause candida/yeast which causes acne, so you might try anti-yeast preparations (and apple cider vinegar) at the health food stores to see if they have any effect on your acne, as they helped mine. Good luck.
