Re: Dry skin/acid reflux normal reaction to 1st LF?

You could be low on calcium, in which case magnesium could bring it down further. Lack of calcium can cause dry skin, irritability, depression, body aches and acid reflux among other things. I had postpartum problems with many of the above symptoms, calcium has been a tremendous help. Be sure and not take too much as it can deplete magnesium and cause the exact same symptoms (been there!) take for a week or so to see if it helps your symptoms then add some magnesium. Also you might want to add some vit D, and if you are not out in the sun very often definately get your vit. D levels checked at the doctor. Without sufficient D, calcium can not do its job. Vit. D was the real key for me. HTH
