Re: Gallstone Triggers
I had a bad gallbladder attack last January right after I had Pizza(lots of it).
I´ve had two flushes so far and never again had I any gb attack.
Greasy foods definitely can cause to gb to work too much and therefore a stone can get stuck in the duct causing pain and the attack itself.
While on treatment I followed the flush recipe from Sensible Health which worked perfectly for me.(www.sensiblehealth.com)_see below. Mrs Chang - the owner of Sensible Health told me beans are really good for the liver and gb as well. So, I wonder what could possibly have gone wrong with yr beans.... too spicy maybe?? Liver apparently is not very keen on spicy foods.
Organic apples and apple juice are great allieds to the treatment as the malic acid helps to move the bile and also it softens the stones.
From my humble experience olive oil(cold pressed) is the best as it is a healthy oil, not saturated which a liver friend as it does not cause too much work to the liver.
Some of the foods you mention(hot dogs, hamburgers) should definitely be avoided not only bc they are greasy but also bc there´s a lot of chemicals and hormones in them(BAD for the liver again!) Whole foods are best. Avoid
White Sugar , white flour, caffeine, deep fried, chocolate and something I love, but haven´t eaten which is : tomatoes. Apparently they trigger a gall bladder attack.
good luck!
