Opinions Needed

i have been making a self improvement website recently and would like feedback from the 'average computer user' regarding its design and colour scheme.

do you like the design/colour scheme? is there anything about the site you would change/improve?

the site only went live yesterday so is still quite bare, it only has an introduction page, an about me page with my picture and some mispelled words! but right now im interested in the design aspect before i expand the site any further.
