Sex, self-gratification and Water-fasting

Does anyone here know the effects of ejaculation by either sex or self-gratification during water fasting. Should one abstain while doing the fast?

any information on the subject would be appreciated.

I know the sexual desire in general goes down anyway due to lack of food, but its still comes up once in a while.
