How much time? I went through 3 salt-pushes
one time. I had a doozy of a toxic back-up yesterday morning and the day before. Very swollen eyes, brain-fog, T-I-R-E-D, but worst of all, I felt like I needed a chiropractor to adjust my neck, because it felt
horribly out of place, with a nasty headache to go with it! I really didn't feel "up" to doing the salt push, but I ended up doing the saltpush THREE times! I used
1/2 tsp of
Redmond's RealSalt every time,
instead of 1/4 tsp! I mixed it in the 4
ounces of warm water, then slugged down 16
ounces of fresh water. I did this three times, with 30 minutes between each "push". I started at 9am yesterday morning, as I recall, and by yesterday noon I was a new woman.
This morning it felt good to look in the mirror and not see those swollen eyes, I was like, YAY, I look young again! (hehe) Today, I felt great all day, although just now I'm starting to get headachey again, so I will do the saltpush as soon as I log off. Oh, and btw, doing this did wonders for the bowels - WHOOSH! (A couple of times) and I peed like crazy. Got rid of the headache, and the "need" for a chiropractor, too! Amazing how not being able to turn your head without pain can be corrected by doing the salt-loading protocol. Who needs a chiropractor?
(Oh, when I think about how much money I've spent on them - OUCH!)
Oh yeah, I passed by a full-length mirror at Walmart today, and my ankles were not swollen, either! Svelte ankles is something I haven't had since my younger days. I may become a "hottie" again, yet!
