Re: We bought a testing kit
Hi Naturalist! Thanks for the website. Have you done the total health program. I hate drugs and of course you know thats what they want him on. I questioned the grains myself from my own common sense because I couldn't figure out why the diabetic pyramid show so much grains when he was eating more of those than anything already. He would eat mostly grains, meat, some veggies, no fruit and
Sugar and little to worthwhile exercise. So I would think the grains to be a no no but they don't say such in the pyramid ( confusing) . What about the fruit? Its good for you but has natural sugars, confusing but maybe it digests differently, not sure. WHat I was leaning towards was a diet of veggies and fruits and small 2-3
oz. of meat a day and no
Sugar and limited grains. Maybe some beans or brown rice or one slice of bread. But if he could stand it I would eliminate all grains and
Sugar for the most part and take in smaller amounts of meat. He is use to a 12
oz steak or large porkchop, poor guy. He isn't overweight though he's about 5'71/2 and weighs 185. Not sure what his ideal weight is but he doesn't look overweight for his body build.
