Re: A period of rest?
Thanks, Poppycane.
My feeling better began with you, did you know, once I had learned the difference Humaworm makes?
And, as though you were right here beside me, I have been 'intending' for you...just in case it helps.
I am so glad you are beginning to feel better. Sleep is a great healer...and we stop worrying and wondering at the same time. Perhaps that's why!
I can't tell you how many years I have wanted a garden, but not had the strength or motivation to build one. All of a sudden, here we are, dh working alongside two fellows who are learning by doing, and fulfilling his lifetime dream...at 82!
I'm working around the perimeter, seeing how I want things to be, and just getting in there and doing it.
And, sleep is key, isn't it?
Maybe it seems like escapism, but it isn't. I was so exhausted, that first day, that all I wanted was water. I don't think I have ever been that low on energy. Luckily, no one expected anything from me...dh is great that way.
We just bolstered each other, and reassured ourselves. Slowly our energy returned.
I wanted readers in this forum to know that strength, and even youthfulness, can be restored. Just be kind and patient with yourself. You are in great hands.
Youth, energy, and happiness, dear PoppyCane...everyone.
