Distilled water, Tap water and PH

I bought distilled water from a supermarket to drink it with my Iodine supplement. I also was going to drink distilled water with ACV & Soda bicarbonate. The recipe called for measuring the PH of the water. I measured the PH of distilled water with PH strip. I was very disturbed it was 5.0 that is acid!!!! Then I thought let me see how the tap water fairs. The tap water PH was 6.4. Another shocker because tap water has chlorine and floride , which may change the PH of water.

I do not know if this is how it should be, does anyone know more about this issue? Shouldn't distilled water be 7.0? I have tested most of the bottled water brands they all have PH of 5.5 (acidic).

Where can we get pure water?
