is it possible to have a successful relationship with a narcissist? i've always been aware that my common-law husband is as self-centred as a gyroscope but is it possible that we can be happy together?

i just don't understand how he can see our daughter as the princess and the light of his life but he treats me like i'm an illegal immigrant nanny unless, of course, we're in public or he's drunk - then he's so kind and so affectionate it's mind-blowing.
