Takes a few weeks before you stop thinking about sigs every 5 minutes. After a few months you will think about them maybe once or twice a day. Then after a year you will only think about it when you are really stressed out.
I've been smoke free almost 2 years after i learned i might have an Arthritis and a bunch of other things. And my body didn't heel at all. Now i am much better. I smoke once in a while (maybe once in a few months when i am out of town and my family doesn't know :). But i am not hooked anymore. It is more like a social drinking now, when you can drink a beer without consequences.
Good luck. Just wait a couple of months, it'l get better.
