Hi, probably the best book on the subject is "Starbound" by michelle Wilburn. I have had it now for about 13 years. It is excellent and you do not have to do everything in there on the rebounder, but you get enough ideas which ways you can bounce on it and that for me was enough. I didn't bother going through the entire routine she has on there. Just incorporate what suits.

I have owned rebounders also. I am not exactly wealthy, so I started off with pretty cheap rebounders. They gave just the same health/fitness benefits but unfortunately I had problems continually with the cheap metal springs which continued to snap. Also the material may not be quality made or the stitching, which of cause causes easier tearing. In the end, I got fed up with getting replacement springs or having to get a new mat (or secondhand one).

Michelle recommends her lymphasizer ones (which are of course top quality)
So in the end I forked out a bit more and got a quality lymphasizer one and it's never failed, quality metal and fabric/stitching (reinforced). So in that respect it is worth paying more.

The (lymphasizer) style that I bought was great once I got the model that suited me. I made the mistake of buying one that was TOO sturdy (gym model) and ended up hurting my ankles and feet to the point I began to be almost crippled after being on it. So I finally opted for the softer home model version (even that is firm enough) and returned the gym one. I got the one with lesser springs so it gave more give. SO i try and warn people about the gym built one. IT is made for heavy duty use at gyms and I do not believe it is suitable for most people at home.

There are other models e.g. Needak which look excellent and I dont see that they have one that is a gym model or over firm.
