My Mirena did the same thing except I had mine for 3 years. I went in to go pee and when I whipped (sorry TMI) I felt the strings snag on the TP. So I pulled it right out. You can be pregnant. When you have the IUD you still ovulate, the IUD just has the hormone that makes it to where sperm can’t make it to the egg. So I would be really careful and go and get a test. When it comes to your period I had mine the whole time I had my IUD, it was just lighter and longer, it took my body about 2 months to go back to normal cycles and 3 months to get pregnant, but I do know woman who have gotten pregnant right away.
