Re: Telman's Maintenance Programme

Telman, since eggs are animal protein, they are difficult to digest and need your own hydrochloric acid to digest.

I have fibro and HUGE liver problems myself. Feeling better, I am experimenting with foods slowly so that I can see for myself what is causing my mucus problems, evidenced by passing mucus in my stools for days afterwards.

What I have learned: if you see me with a hotdog in my hand, kill me quickly before it gets a chance!!!!! SAD cheeseburgers are a no go in my life - I've eaten 2 in the last 18 months, wrecked my alkaline stomach to the point of then not digesting fruit for several days. A SAD barbeque, string bean, stewed carrots and stewed apple meal from Cracker Barrel took 7-10 days to overcome the damage to my alkalinity.

If you can't eat eggs, kiss them goodbye.
