Re: I'm hungry. Its day 1 of juice fast.
Isla E,
Good for you!! It's sounds like you're doing really good things! :) Don't beat yourself if you set a strong goal and 'miss the mark' a little bit, you've done a zillion percent better than what you would have done if you hadn't started, that's for SURE! (And like I mentioned, the products alone WILL do some 'level of good' even if you don't walk 'the straight & narrow' :)
And besides, if you had to 'cheat', beets are far better than something like a Big Mac!
I can make it almost two weeks with the tinctures/teas, too. I honestly canNOT handle that
Liver Flush drink after the 3rd day...3 garlic cloves is more than I can stomach. Yep, I could 'fight the gag', work hard and work up to the 3-5 cloves, but I choose to take the tincture/teas along with juice fasting and do a major
Liver Flush on the last day (evening) - and that's worked out great for me a couple-three times :)
I just read your latest post...are you
juicing beforehand, putting the juice in something like canning jars, and then taking the jars of juice to work? Or trying to actually do the
juicing at work? If you're
juicing at work, it'd be way easier to juice the night before and take the jars of juice to work. Yes, there is some loss of enzymes from storing the juice, but if you fill canning jars to 'overfull' and then put the tops on (with juice squirting out around the edges), you'll have the jars sealed tight without the juice getting any more oxygen (which causes the oxidation that kills the enzymes). Canning juice in this manner is something
Dr. Schulze recommends for those that simply cannot be juicing all day. It's not as good as right out of the juicer, but it's WAY better than pasteurized!!
Keep up the good work! Once you 'get your mind around' a juice fast, the rest is feasting :)
