The AMAS test for cancer

Glaxony, the AMAS test has proven very unreliable as a detector of cancer. It produces false negatives, meaning it often says your are cancer-free when you have an active cancer diagnosed by biopsy.

For the last 5-10 years, the alternative Breast Cancer group, Amazon, and the alternative prostate cancer group have not recommended the AMAS test. I've lost track of the number of people I've personally met who have taken this test and had inaccurate results.

Some alt med doctors continue to use it because they feel they are obliged to do some testing.

I wish I could report better news about the AMAS test but I felt I had to speak up.
