Re: I've been pulling for two weeks now
I have been pulling for 2 weeks now, this followed a period of a week where I drank fresh fruit juices only with a light lunch of salads with a small amount of tuna and or rice (I was trying to avoid a too rapid weight loss as I was worried about gaining more weight too quickly, when the fast was finished). I have an intolerance to wheat, recently I had slipped into bad habits and began eating wheat again. I had reached a point (again) where my body felt completely poisoned. Headaches, aching limbs and joints, nausea, terrible lethargy, bloated and gassy stomach etc.I had also gained weight very rapidly.I felt I had reached my rock bottom. I had not fasted before but thought a fast may rid my body of the toxins faster.I'm sure it did, my symptoms became less very quickly. After the fifth day, my tongue was thickly coated, while searching the internet to find an answer to my coated tongue, I came across OP. My first experience also did not produce any bad smells, I tried firstly with olive oil, the oil turned to a pail yellow but not white, however I did feel a strong bitter taste coming from the back of my throat. Stains at the back of my teeth virtually disappeared with the first pull, my tongue was considerably less coated. The second day, I invested in organic sunflower oil, this gave me the same results as the olive oil but became white and thin. I also wondered if the lack of smell meant that I was relatively purged through the fast. Today I pulled with coconut oil and the bitter taste at the back of my throat returned (I think this taste must come from my smoking habit). I am still drinking a lot of fruit and eating salads and occasionally fish. I pull shortly after waking for 20 minutes, My tongue still becomes lightly coated..maybe still the effects of the fruit or maybe as a result of toxins coming to the surface. Sorry to ramble on a bit but in reply to your post, I feel that although there is no smell, I'm sure that continued pulling will still be ridding your body of toxins. After all , we are exposed to toxins on a daily basis so there is always something to pull.
