Re: how long should a cleanse take?

Take a break from the P&B for now. In some people the plaque is so hard is only abrades away in small almost unnoticeable pieces. I used P&B off and on for nearly a year with little evidence of any real plaque. After I started doing The Master Cleanse I noticed larger pieces of a dark rubbery substance being passed alone with the psyllium "ropes". After my third Master Cleanse which was done along with a parasite cleanse and moderate doses of psyllium I passed three feet of mucoid plaque in one BM. It was a hard rubbery mass, hollow inside and covered with small red and white worms on the outside. This was completely different from any bowel movement I ever had. The next day I passed a couple more feet of the same mass followed by two feet of psyllium based fecal matter. There is no doubt in my mind this was the fabled mucoid plaque. After this, my health improved so much I was soon able to return to work after being unable to do anything for nearly eighteen months due to a back injury.

Even if you never see this kind of result, please know you are doing something great for your body by colon cleansing. The trick is not to overdo it. Some people say too much psyllium for too long can cause abrasions on the small intestine walls that can eventually hinder the absorption of nutrients. That is why I believe in taking time off with P&B shakes. You can do other cleanses in the meantime for overall radiant health.

By the way, when you are doing the shakes be sure and drink some lemon water throughout the day, it seems to help soften the mucoid plaque.
