I have family who often sleep in their recliners and have claimed they get deeper rest there. When recovering myself, I found myself piling pillows to prop myself upright on a flat bed, over and over, through the years. I could not seemingly pile them high enough. I deeply respect instincts and intuitions of that kind. It was the one thing I liked about being in a hospital - the elevated head of the bed - I never lowered it.
