Who in this country's bureaucracy is pulling for U.S. based manufacturers? It's cheaper (magic word) to produce drugs if the company is situated in a territory or on foreign soil.

BTW, you have heard about the toothpaste-made-in-China recall (translated: chunk the tube in the trash)?
