Re: HOw bad are potatoes with candida?

Hi thanks for your response. I think I will stay away from them. I used to once seem to get away with eating them, so long as I stayed away from direct Sugar and honey.

However I am finding I have a much worse case this time around of candida and it seems potatoes are no better than direct Sugar for me. I thought I could get away with it, but I dont think it's working. I find also once I eat them, I cant stop and certainly it seems my symptoms worsen. I love them, but i'm going to have to give them a miss, at least until I find I am stronger.

I agree with what you said, I think when a person is improved perhaps bringing potatoes back onboard might be possible. Perhaps when a better gut flora is established. I have yet to reach that stage. I got very bad last year after Antibiotics and finding now I am not responding to the diet like I used to and have to be far more vigilant and careful. I am struggling a lot, but hope that if I manage to stick to the proper diet for long enough, I will see results....

here's hoping.
