Re: HOw bad are potatoes with candida?

I have found that starchy products in large volume cause me really gassy symptoms, so I stay away for the most part.

That includes starchy vegetables like potatoes, winter squash, yams/sweet potatoes (in my case), corn to name a few. Consume them in small quantities, if at all.

I actually do better with natural potatoe chips than I do with mashed. Maybe because of the volume. (I eat fewer potatoes in chip form than I would in mashed form) Also, I have found that I can eat more potatoe chips than corn chips. I tend to snack a little on potatoe chips maybe a time or two a week.

Probably important NOT to do this if you are in the middle of strong symptoms, but rather when you are feeling well for the most part.

For me, starch response is right up there with distilled vinegar.
